Carrot and swede mash

Very easy and very tasty - and very popular with children.


Carrots, peeled and roughly sliced

Swede, peeled and chopped into small chunks

Butter or olive oil

Salt and pepper



Boil carrots and swede until tender (about 15-20 minutes depending on size of pieces). Drain and mash with butter or olive oil, salt, pepper and a little grated nutmeg.
