Turnip, apple & crunchy nut salad

Very quick, fresh and tasty.


1 bag Hackney or Dagenham salad (or other salad leaves)

3 or 4 turnips, washed, peeled if they need it and diced

2 apples, cored and diced

Toasted nuts - almonds, pecans and walnuts are all good

vinaigrette - salt, pepper, vinegar and oil


Combine the greens, turnip and apple and dress with the vinaigrette. Scatter the nuts over the top and serve.
