Mathew worked as a butcher working with small farmers across the UK before making the switch to working with fruit and vegetable growers. He felt that while livestock certainly plays a role in farming sustainably that it does not work within what is currently considered a successful conventional business. Working at the Better Food Shed allows him to work with growers and farmers and link their amazing produce to customers in London and further afield.
