This recipe looked so good that we shamelessly nicked it from our friends at Local Greens in Herne Hill. They say it will make you fall in love with brussels sprouts!
Ingredients
3 tbs teriyaki sauce
1 tbs sesame oil
1 tbs smoked paprika
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
a bag of brussels sprouts, halved
1 tsp ground black pepper
Method
In a bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, paprika and garlic powder.
Over medium heat, heat the olive oil and cook the garlic for about 2 minutes.
Add the sprouts and sprinkle with pepper. Arrange the sprouts (cut side down) and brush with 1/3 of the teriyaki mixture, cook and stir. Repeat 2 more times, until the sprouts are golden brown.
