Easy apple peel crisps

A scrummy way to reduce your waste, according to our intern Larissa. She says: "Use apple peelings left over from baking to make crispy cinnamon apple slices that will disappear in minutes. You might even have to start peeling all your apples so you can make more of these!"

Method

Mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Toss the apple peelings in the sugar cinnamon mix until well covered then lay out on a baking tray.

Place in a preheated oven at 150°C and cook for 30-40 minutes, tossing them halfway through. They will harden a little as they cool.

Enjoy.
