4 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
swede, if you happen to have some, peeled and chopped
half a bag of kale, chopped
salt and pepper
horseradish sauce - optional
Boil or steam the potatoes (and swede if using) and mash with butter.
Saute the onion and steam the kale for a few minutes, and add both to the mix.
Season with salt and pepper, and a spoonful of horseradish sauce if you like.
Mix, form into cakes and shallow fry until golden on both sides.
