A quick and easy alternative to stir-frying/stuffing your cabbage. Serves 4-6
Method
Whisk together the first 6 ingredients.
Add the cabbage and toss.
Let the cabbage sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes, tossing occasionally, to allow it to soften.
Optional: sprinkle with peanuts or toasted hazelnuts before serving.

Ingredients
5 tbs rice vinegar
2 tsp sugar
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 tsp minced red chilli, or chilli paste
2 tbs sesame oil
Savoy cabbage, sliced very thinly
optional: chopped peanuts
