Do you have a green-fingered pre-schooler who likes nothing better than to dig in the garden or water your plants?
We're starting Little Grower gardening sessions at our Clissold Park market garden from 10am-12pm every Wednesday from 7 June (the week after half-term).
Your budding (sorry...) growers can search for frogs and newts in our pond, taste the organic herbs and leaves we grow to create Hackney Salad for our veg scheme, sow seeds and join in garden-related arts and crafts activities, such as sculpting bugs, designing jewellery and making leafy prints.
The drop-in sessions are run by Ciara, an experienced forest school teacher who is one of this year's urban growing trainees. They cost £5 per child.
